DailyMile makes me feel guilty…

…but I wouldn’t have it any other way.  DailyMile = the Twitter for athletes who are looking to communicate with others about their workouts.

During my collegiate running career, I had my coaches and teammates holding me accountable.  Now I have my crew of “followers” and that stupid awesome tab that calculates my week’s mileage holding me accountable for my workouts.

I’m being completely honest here…if I didn’t signup for the DailyMile at the beginning of this year I already would have missed three shorter runs.  But, I can recall Tweeting/posting on the DailyMile that I planned to run X miles the following day. I wasn’t about to let one of my followers call me out.  I literally left the oyster feed on Sunday (even set down my Blue Moon) just so I could go for a run before it got dark.  I don’t know what I was happier about Sunday evening…enjoying a glass of wine with friends or posting the run to DM.

I’m stoked to hear about the new DM shirts that will be released along with the brand ambassadors program starting.  The dudes at DM get it (if you ever start sponsoring events and need a coordinator hit me up). I’m so glad that I discovered this site.

If you are not an exclusive member into the DailyMile society go for your run tonight and then sign up.  If you are a member and we are not friends yet, find me: Ryan C. out of Virginia Beach, VA.
